Pink PSP Reviews
The best quote is:
The colour of the console is VERY girly, which I love. All in all it's a great console and would recommend this to any Pink Lady, of course the black and white versions are also avaliable for the male of the species!!! Happy Gaming....

Pink PSP Console Review #1
I had been wanting a games console for a while and had a good look round before deciding to buy a Sony PSP. I ordered it from Amazon and it arrived the next day using the up-graded delivery service. I also ordered my first game - the Sega Megadrive Collection - which has loads of retro games like Sonic The Hedgehog, Golden Axe and Ecco The Dolphin included. I found the console eay to set-up and use for gaming. The screen is a good size and picture quality is excellent, therefore it takes nothing away from the original gaming of the Sega Megadrive games.

Of course, the only problem with this is that the PSP-3000 is £25 more expensive, and, in all honesty, the two models aren't that different. Before purchasing this, I'd just research the differences between the PSP-2000 and -3000, and see if you might want some of the new stuff on the pink PSP 3000 (it's got a better screen and a couple of other minor refinements, but nothing too major).
On a more review-based note, however, I'm stuck with a steam-driven PSP-1000, and I think it's great as a portable media device. Photos, music, videos, internet features (especially the new online Playstation Store) all work brilliantly. As for games, I think people are a little harsh on the pink PSP when they say the games are all rubbish - there's clearly many quality titles - racing and sports games work particularly well on the PSP, as well as quirky games such as LocoRoco. But I'd be very careful if choosing action games on the PSP - many simply don't work because the PSP's controls aren't suited to such titles, but if you look for the good ones, there's certainly enough quality action games to satisfy anyone
Pink PSP Console Review #3
The pink PSP is a lovely device, and the Slim and Light version has made some great improvements, including battery life and screen brightness. I love my old chunky model to bits, so this is more a review of the console in general.
The battery life on this model is better than the old, but still not in the same league as the DS, a machine I hardly notice having to charge. For charge the PSP you will, the huge bright screen is a big drain on power, not to mention the lovely graphics. Really, with battery issues aside, and it's excellent media capabilities (8GB card + Flight of the Conchords DVD + Handbrake software = most fun you can legally have on a train) the PSP should be the true choice for gaming on the move.

Ok, I'll go through some of the Media features of the PSP. The PSP can act as an MP3 player to store your music, You can browse the internet with an included browser, You can take Photos if you purchase the separate camera attachment, Listen to Internet Radio and watch films on the UMD format.
There is downside and I'm of the opinion the PSP is the jack of all trades, but the master of none. It can do MP3, but people who listen to music on the move, usually prefer smaller and lighter devices that can fit in their pockets. It can browse the internet, but it's slow and because of the small screen it takes longer to navigate to the page text you want. As there's no touchscreen you'll have to click on each letter separately to write you web address, hardly ideal. The UMD film format hasn't taken off as Sony probably would have liked. The PSP's media functions aren't awful, but other devices do them better.
The main reason most buy the PSP is for it's games and there is some good games to be had. I thoroughly enjoyed both Grand theft Auto games, Burnout series and there's some good retro collections to be had namely the Sega Mega drive collection. You can also download games from Sony's Playstation download site. I have however noticed that games being released for the PSP are in decline with fewer and fewer titles. Nintendo are dominating the hand-held market with their DS mainly because it has an innovative touchscreen ,but also Better battery life and a cartridge system that can load games much faster than a Disk format. In my opinion there is a better selection of games offered on the DS than the PSP.
